UEM is the largest and oldest university in Mozambique and an established partner of UNESCO‐IHE in past projects such as POWER2FLOW. We are partnering with the Faculty of Engineering which has a specific interest in multipurpose storage and hydropower. The Faculty currently has one PhD student based in Sweden working on this topic and has proposed to align the PhD research with the activities of SMultiStor. UEM will participate in the development and application of the basin‐scale tool development for the Zambezi. We will also seek to align the MSc and PhD thesis topics of more students from UEM with program activities.
