WWF is the world’s largest conservation organization and an already important partner of UNESCO‐IHE. Their freshwater programs address, among other things, water efficient agriculture and sustainable hydropower. They have an especially strong hydropower‐related presence in the Zambezi and Mekong River Basins and their Myanmar office is now also launching freshwater activities. WWF’s Global Freshwater Program will be a core science and impact partner in S‐MultiStor. Country offices in The Netherlands, the Zambezi riparian states, and Myanmar will be important contributors to activities in the Zambezi and Irrawaddy Basins.
